Love-Hate

In this crazy love-hate relationship, it was nice to see this sweet moment when Ben pushed the chairs together to be close with Zoe. He even let her 'watch' Curious George next to him later.

Obligatory Baby-Eats-Spaghetti Pictures

We missed these kinds of pictures with Ben since to this day his diet consists of maybe five or six things and still won't even come near pasta. So I had to take advantage when Zoe dug into her linguini with reckless abandon. Notice how she won't even let me hold the fork. We've taken to getting out two spoons or two forks whenever we feed her a food that requires a utensil since she absolutely HAS to do it herself in these instances.

One two Skip to my Zoo

A favorite Ben hang (probably because he feels most at home here), we all enjoyed this steamy day at the zoo. Nothing romantic, it was just really hot. Unless you count Ben's five minute love affair with the goat in these pictures. Then he was ready to move on, preferring to wash his hands in the neat sinks. The water flowed down rocks through tiny 'ravines' then dropped right onto your hands. Zoe loved it too and there we stayed for at least half our time at the zoo.

Cowboy's Log Cabin

This Cowboy needs a real cabin to come home to after a long day on the range. Since his parents aren't giving it to him, he made one himself.

Mother's Day

We had a lot of fun playing in the water fountains on mother's day. Unfortunately, 'mother' isn't in any of these pictures because 'mother' accidentally deleted most of the mother's day pics from her camera before downloading them (she thought she had already done it) along with some other awesome pictures she is still crying about. Bad mother, bad. But at least since it was mother's day, we'll forgive her. Although she will never forgive herself.

Morning Walk

We frequently go out for morning walks in the neighborhood. So frequently in fact that the kids are bored with it. They've taken to playing in the mud, gathering snails, breaking spider webs, eating dirt, and knocking on random doors shouting "Police Open Up!" Luckily, all the stuff I like to do too.

Pet Octopus

Normally a somewhat oblivious person, I couldn't help but notice the pink octopus that took over the living room.

Cool Hat

There's just something about an over sized hat that is ALWAYS cute on a baby. Even Ben wanted to hug Zoe when she was wearing this cool hat.

The Little Princess

I found a box of girl's clothes the other day and was so sad when some of it was already too small for Zoe and most of it was very soon to be too small. This is one of those outfits.

Fireman

I couldn't believe it when I came out from putting Zoe down for a nap and Ben was actually wearing a costume. He hates costumes. But then he told me it's not a costume. That he is an actual fireman. And he hosed me down with the kitchen sink sprayer.
