Meeting Elliot

After weeks of waiting, we finally got to meet Baby Elliot. Katia had a very hard first few weeks with breast feeding and C-section recovery so we had to wait, but it was worth it to finally meet the adorable little sprout. PLUS, we all had fun playing with Athina and Martin on the swings and trampoline.

Itzy Bitsy Spider

With great power comes great responsibility. No wonder she doesn't want to sleep at night. She wants to go out and fight bad guys. We'll have to get her a warmer Spider Girl costume than just a hat.

Soy Much Fun

As dad tries to ice his hurt knee with Edamame (soy beans), Ben and Zoe have fun crawling all over said knee.

Cuz I'm a Cowboy

...on a steel horse I ride. Yeah I'm wanted, wanteeeeed, dead or... okay you get the gist, do I really need to go on?

Although he's only accused of swiping toys from his sister so far, what's next? Bank robbing? Grand theft auto? As long as Zoe continues to present this 'no big deal' face when he steals, how is he supposed to learn? Honestly, I think this horrifying and confusing childhood experience will be a good defense when his time is up. But he'll have to give up the harley davidson boots, the STOLEN harley davidson boots, or they'll give him away as the "bad boy" tough guy he really is.

Grams and Gramps

It was a wonderful day when my mother and Allan had a layover here on their way to Australia to visit my brother Tony and his great family, wife Liesl, kids Logan and Delenn and another on the way. My mother is great with the kids and we all had a lot of fun.

Knee Glee

As you can clearly see, Zoe is taking the utmost joy in striking her father while he is down. Here he is only a couple of days after surgery for a torn manyschus. Umm, I think it's actually spelled 'meniscus,' but after hearing Steve say it so many times and still wondering what the hell it is I think it deserves a little misspelling.

Steve recovered miraculously fast because he is very tough. But I think it was also thanks to my voodoo doll witch doctoring. What? I needed him to heal faster in order to help with the kids again. I never hurt his voodoo doll or anything. Okay, just once. Like I said, he's very tough. I knew he could take it. And I was tired of doing all the work with the kids.

Sleepy and Sleepier

Ben is never happy right after waking up from his nap, but here he's even more perturbed because of Zoe's over the top cheeriness. Of course, the truth is that Zoe is just taunting her brother because she was allowed to be up from her nap an entire hour earlier than him. Little does she know her time will come. I only hope she's still smiling after we get tougher on her about her wretched sleeping habits.
