Cute Factor

Ben and Kali use their baby and puppy wiles to lure Steve away from work. The cute factor here can be overwhelming at times. So thick in the air it's hard for us to do anything but soak in it.

31 Flavors

So I turned 31 last Sunday and if I were a Baskin Robbin's 31 Flavor store I'd be all out of flavors. No more new flavors for me. That's it. That's all of 'em. Nothing left but reruns from here on out. I'll probably decidedon my favorite flavor and stay with that for the rest of my life, maybe deviating every once in a while for something exciting, but really not that exciting since it will have already been done at least once.

But looking out on the horizon, the sun shining on my cool, cloudy thoughts, I feel a warmth come over me. A hot idea that needs an icy treat. I cooooould... um, I don't know, say, mix flavors! Or even add a new topping. Maybe I could even create my own entirely new flavor, oreo crumpet. There is hope for those over 31 after all! Don't abandon hope all ye who are over 31 who enter the great Baskin Robbins of life. With an older, wiser brain there are still so many different, and even more unique treats to experience!

Cousin Ceci Sees Ben

Hooray for Cousin Ceci! Despite gruelling Los Angeles traffic and a car with no air conditioning, Cousin Ceci drove up from San Diego last Friday just to see Ben. Okay, so really she actually came up to get her boyfriend from LAX. And actually her jalopy was a Lexus luxury car with surround sound and climate control. And actually she had a chaffeur drive while she sipped martinis. And actually she didn't really come at all.

Okay, everything above was a lie, except for the boyfriend bit and seeing Ben. Here are the pictures to prove it.

Thanks for coming Ceci. We all were glad to see you! It surely warmed the cockles of our stone cold hearts and made our day.

p.s. I love the way the blogger website chose to cut off the sentence above between the words "air" and "conditioning." For those of you who didn't make it past the word "air," you can rest assured the Ceci's car in fact had air and Ceci is alive and well.

A Perfect Ten for Ben

Our dear friends Katia and Martin gave birth to a beatiful baby girl, Athina, a little over two weeks ago. Here she is today getting more and more attractive. Ben is already swooning.

Greetings earthlings. We come in peace. I am the leader of BAFOS (the Babies Are From Outer Space organization). Now take me to your cookie jar or I'll ki... kiss you. Again, I reiterate... we come in peace. Now, where are the COOKIES! I want MY COOKIIIIIIIIES!!!! Sorry, don't know what came over me there. I seem to have very little control over my emotions on this planet.
