We enjoyed Presidents Day like every other American Citizen and went to the Ronald Reagan Library where every other American citizen went. Despite the mass hordes that joined us, it was nice to do SOMETHING on Presidents Day, the jolliest day of the year.

Yer Dragon Me Down Man

It was that time of year again when I wanted to take shots for the invitations to Ben's Birthday Party. Fun for about ten seconds and then I was just buggin' him following him around with the camera. I've heard of Daffy Duck, but not Daffy Dragon which is what I got from him. It wasn't what I was going for, but clearly Ben's creative vision was more inventive than mine.

Do You Believe in Magic?

Ben and QBear were inseparable for the weekend he came home with us. After all their adventures some quiet activities at home were Ben teaching QBear magic tricks and hearing a bedtime story about a ferocious man-eating bear.

The Adventure Continues

The Notorious QB went to get his work out on at the gym so that he would have more endurance for his ongoing adventures. He did a CrossFit WOD and nearly died which would have caused many devastated kindergarten tears. Thankfully he, just barely, pulled through!

Gettying Nowhere

Sometimes when we have nothing to do, we do it at the Getty. It's lots of fun finding new ways to upset the guards. And that's after we've commandeered the tram and pocketed everyone's wishing pennies for the various fountains. Plus, the notorious Q-Bear, a tagalong from Ben's Kindergarten, came with us. You're meant to photograph his adventures with your child and report it all in a group journal. So to not be the lamest parent ever, you'd better damn well come up with some excitement for him. Luckily he was just ferocious enough to keep us from getting kicked out and the pictures we got of him savaging a guard were enough to appease Ben's need to impress his class.
